Nine Noble Virtues

"The Odinic Rite lists the 9 Noble Virtues as
Courage, Truth, Honor, Fidelity, Discipline, Hospitality, Industriousness, Self-Reliance, and Perseverance.
It would be hard to get much argument on any of these values from anyone. They simply and briefly encapsulate the broad wisdom of our Gods and ancestors."

Read about the Nine Noble Virtues here.

I don't see how anyone could disagree with this, no matter who you are. If you do, I would assume you are in worship of anti-life. Which means you should kill yourself. Now. Not only does it support your cause, but it supports mine. Also, about this anti-life/anti-human crap, I wanted to note, I don't mean people who are pro-choice, I don't mean black-metal fuck tards who just hate everything (whatever dude), I mean little shit disturbers who fuck up good causes. I most definitely am pro-life in the sense that I have some idealistic world view that I wish would manifest in my lifetime (as if), but not in the sense that I am willing to subscribe to 'pro-life movements' such Christianity.
As Nietzsche puts it "Parasitism is the only practice of the church; with its ideal of anaemia, its "holiness", draining all blood, all love, all hope for life; the beyond as the will to negate every reality; the cross as the mark of recognition for the most subterranean conspiracy that ever existed-against health, beauty, whatever has turned out well, courage, spirit, graciousness of the soul, against life itself."

Tell me this, do you like having a symbiotic relationship with a parasite? Sure you both benefit, but then you realize that you're sustaining a parasite. Then you realize it's not symbiotic. It's parasitic and you should destroy the little wanker who is sucking all your blood.
So that is my quick twist on pro-life/anti-life.
As the Gnostics imply, what is holy is really evil, and what is evil is really holy, to put it vaguely. I could seriously ramble about this but I will not because I'm already rambling anyway, I don't want to put too much jargon up in one post. Oh my.

So back to my point,
We all falter. We all fail, but what separates the strong from the weak, the better from the worse, are those who do not give up and pursue life with the power of their will and the knowledge of their inner strength.
It is my own reflection upon the small society which I live in (est. 80,000 in 2006) that many are lacking willpower and instead are stuck in routines of circumstance or familiar comfort without any direction, a cyclic nature that manifests no result or benefit to self, the only thing manifested is mediocrity and the bare passing of life.
Some argue that ritual, traditionalism, intuition and instinct should be abolished for the greater good of society, for the progression of science, a chance to live on the moon, and for the good of evolution. I argue the exact opposite. The former argument (which sounds ludicrous to me) that has no basis in the real world, simply because I cannot think of a singular place that has ever completely removed such long-held policies from it's citizens, and I can't imagine what would happen if they did. It would be beyond totalitarianism, and far beyond fascism. The one who initially claimed this argument to me is ironically a Democratic Liberal.
I can however think of many places that uphold tradition, or at least do not oppose it, many places that have thriving societies. However I cannot find any large enough group that upholds heathen tradition on a large scale. Anywhere that is 'traditionalist' is in the name of Christianity or Islam or other such faiths, which have produced consequences that should be recognizable to all.
I can also think of places that distort their country's culture with all sorts of PC-acceptance/everyone is 100% equal bullshit, which leads to a melting pot mentality (puke). I'm pretty sure a history book, or a look at national news proves that all people are not equal.
I believe that tradition, and honourable morals and virtues should be taught and held bravely in the hearts of men, women, and their families. I believe it is important to have solid ground within one's self in order to face the chaotic world that we live in. Without this 'solid ground' what happens when we falter? When we fail? What is there to rely on when you are ashamed of yourself, your brethren, your country? Why is there shame in the first place? I believe that without a structure (some have religion, others have escapism) to believe in, it is hard to progress in life which is why I believe people fall into a cyclic nature.
Modern society seems to be a place void of morals, values, or life-affirming beliefs. I mean I know they are there, but I am stating this as a generalization. Everything in the Western world has been materialized, demoralized, and turned into mind-altering propaganda that gives affirmation to those who are fast tracked to becoming vagabond hedonists. I'm not saying that hermeticism or asceticism is the answer, but materialistic self-indulging lost-cause hedonism is not the answer either. It is a proprietor of mental and physical disease. IMO.

Was this a random thought? Yeah.
